Empire Farm

Empire Farm, was an extensive renovation and redevelopment of a traditional character property, transforming it into a modern, energy-conscious home while retaining its rural charm and original features.

The project involved significant structural alterations, including major groundworks, new foundations, blockwork and large-scale masonry works. Much of the original structure was carefully reworked, with new structural elements integrated to improve layout, strength and long-term performance, while respecting the character of the existing building.

Sustainability was a key focus throughout the build. Eco-friendly materials were used wherever possible, alongside the installation of a rainwater harvesting system designed to collect and manage water across the site. This system was thoughtfully integrated into the surrounding landscaping, feeding into a pond and wider garden design to support natural drainage and environmental balance.

The works required detailed planning and careful coordination, combining traditional building techniques with modern construction methods. From groundworks and concrete pours through to stonework, structural preparation and roofing works, this project demonstrates our ability to manage complex, large-scale renovations from start to finish.

The completed build delivers a robust, practical and environmentally considered home, successfully blending the character of the original property with the demands of modern living.
